Hey everyone! it's been an awesome week here in Korea! The holiday was really fun but it's good to get back to normal work again!! This week was a week full of miracles and unexpected things as far as it goes with our investigators!! last week we had an investigator that came to church and liked it, we taught him afterwards with our bishop and it was a pretty good lesson! we met him again this past week and taught him about the plan of salvation and baptism! the lesson went SO good. We were talking about baptism and I asked him what he thought baptsim, he said he didn't think it was bad and it was something he wanted to do! so I asked him if he would be baptized in february and he said yes, I was planning on doing that! haha Then after that he said "how can I prepare to be baptized?" haha he is so prepared! Then, we found a new guy and got him coming to english class. on wednesday after english class he came up to me and was like "hey can I learn about your church? I want to know more about it, but I'm not very good at english so I need to hear about it in korean!" haha we both couldn't believe that he said that. A lot of the people that meet us love english so much and want to speak english the whole time we meet (and it is so hard for us cause koreans have the hardest time learning english! our languages are just too different they cant do it! ha anyways we got to meet him on saturday and teach him and he wants to learn about our church really bad and just wants to follow Christ! he is really prepared. Ha we have found a bunch of people this week from street boarding too! we are really excited this area is doing soooo good :) we are also going to meet someone that lived in America for a while and went to our church while they lived there so that sould be really good! Sorry that's all I have time for we have been super busy lately! sometimes I feel like I don't have anytime to even think! it's good though it keeps me focused on the Lords work. I love the gospel and the happiness it brings to everyone that chooses to follow it! :) I love you all have a great week!!

Hey mom!! I forgot to tell you it was korean new year!! our pday got switched. It was kinda like a 2day vacation from missionary work. This past week has been amazing. It was new years here in Seoul (on the Lunar Calendar) it is one of the biggest holidays in Korea! the whole town shuts down for about 3 days! especially the 2nd day, everything is closed. It kinda reminded me of a huge ghost town! ha it was so quiet compared to the normal busy busy lives the Koreans live.

Last week we had an awesome week! we have a couple of really good investigators that are coming to church and liking it! We have a few families lined up to teach this week as well which is pretty rare! so we are really excited to teach them and meet them this week! We went to a members house last week to eat dinner with them and that was really fun, the dad was super funny I like him alot! he kept telling me I looked like a movie star and then when it was time for us to leave we knelt to say a prayer and he was like "the good looking elder has to say the prayer" and pointed at me. It was really funny!!! we got fed by our bishop once too and he invited a lot of people over, like half the ward! You'll never guess what happened, one of my teachers from the MTC showed up there!! it was so sweet. he served in this area! (it used to be the AP area back when there were two missions in seoul!! yesterday we had our conference and it was great. It was really good to get to see everyone and the trainings we got were awesome. afterwards, we went and ate with the member and her boyfriend that is getting baptized from Yeong Deong Po!! then, we went hiking with them! it was soooo good to see them, and I was so happy to hear that he decided to get baptized!! (he said he would when I taught him he just hadn't set a date yet) so that was an amazing day. I love that family! well we have to go to district meeting! i have alot of pictures but I will have to send them next week! I love you all.

Yesterday I had the first feeling of missing Korea and being a missionary, we had an SPM meeting with the Stake Pres and President Lee and I will only go to one more of those it just hit me that my time is starting to run lower and lower.. sad

We're taking off I have some food shopping to do!! I'll talk to you next week!! I love you have a great week! I love the gospel. I love this work and I'm so grateful to be a part of it and to see all the things the Lord has let me seen. I'm so happy to be here in Korea and I'm so grateful for my family. I love you all!

HMMM I don't really know what to say in this weeks email! Ha I feel like I can just tell you everything I have to say next week!! I'll give you a quick investigator update! We taught Brother Jeong the 2nd lesson, he is doing really good! he has no religious background at all so it's really weird to teach him! there are so many words that we have to explain to him . It's pretty funny. Steve came to church again, we are going to see him a few times this week! we met a new investigator his english name is Paul. He just moved back from Canada and is really good!! he has a lot of potential!! He almost got baptized in Canada but didn't have enough time I guess! he came to the party and to church also!! we went on splits on wednesday, I went with Elder McCausland he is from Laverkin, Utah haha so that was way fun to get to know him a little better I'm probably the only person in our mission who knows where Laverkin is so he probably liked that!! Last night we ate at a members house that is in the english branch! it was way good. Ha they gave us a ride home and on the way he crashed into the side of a wall pretty bad and messed up their car door!! it was pretty crazy but they just laughed about it. They are an awesome family I love them!!! hmm I guess I'll talk to you next week on the phone!

Well I'm going to write about the week a little bit I guess.. haha so let's see Tuesday we had zone leader council and we received an awesome training on studying and how we can always improve ourselves through our study. It was so good and the spirit of the meeting was SO amazing. President gave a few awesome talks to I love him so much. Wednesday we had combined district meeting where we conveyed the training and then after that we went on splits with my 2nd area Boeng Cheon. I went with Elder Greer who is in his first transfer! ha it was fun to be with a new Elder again it had been a while for me since I had done that! it's always a good experience for me to look back and see how much I have learned and grown while i've been on my mission!! (i'm not saying elder Greer isn't an awesome missionary cause he is!) he actually was super impressive and willing to do anything I said!! Friday we met with Na Jeong Hee and taught him, he got a new job so he is going to be moving soon, I was so sad when he told me! I've gotten so close with him ha I don't want him to leave. And he hasn't even got baptized yet!! haha he totally knows the church is true he just thinks he needs to be perfect before he joins!! I already told you about most of the weekend so I wont talk about that again but it was amazing. Also, Sunday I heard some really really good talks!! the one I wanna talk about was on how to be happier and enjoy the Holy Ghost more in our lives!! He started and just said don't sin as much. I loved the way he worded it, we all are sinners everyone knows that, we sin SO much. He just stressed that we can become better people continually if  we repent and rely on the Savior and do our best to sin less and less, read The Book of Mormon and have sincere prayers. I loved it so much and I could feel the spirit so strong the whole time. I really reflected on it and thought about how it relates to being a missionary, there are so many rules that it is almost impossible to keep every single one 100 percent of the time, like starting this at a certain time or not doing this or being home at this time just little things like that, I came to the conclusion that maybe they are there to show and remind us how weak we truly are and how much we need the Savior in our lives. We all need Christ's atonement in our lives, I'm so grateful for it and I hope we can all remember the true meaning of Christmas! I love you all thank you so much for your support.
